Mini or Full-Size Kegerator

June 27th, 2014 | Posted by info in Mini or Full-Size Kegerator

kegeratorI love beer, and I love it cold, and I love it on tap.  Draft beer is the best way to drink a beer, and I hate to have it any other way.  If you know anything about draft beer then you know that it comes from a keg.  Currently, I am saving up my money to buy a mini kegerator or a large full-size kegerator.

Thankfully there are many places on the internet where you can find great reviews of kegerators.  As I’m researching the different kegerators out there, I am starting to lean towards getting a mini kegerator because of the size.  I live in an apartment, and I don’t know if I have the room for a full-size kegerator.  But, with a smaller 5 L kegerator I know that I can easily put it on my countertop and not worry about it.

The issue is whether or not a 5l keg will provide me with the amount of beer that I want to be comfortable? I guess I have to begin to look at the lesser of two evils.  Truthfully, the space is a big factor, so I’m probably going to have to go with getting a small kegerator just to save space.

I’m not worried about it because the ultimate purpose is to get draft beer in the house and a 5L kegerator will do just that for me.  These small kegerators are also very sophisticated.  A lot of them are portable, and have temperature controls available with them.  Another plus is a lot of craft beer makers are beginning to make a lot more 5L kegs giving me more options to enjoy a lot of different types of beer.

If you are like me and looking for a kegerator source to find more ways to keep your keg cold then check out this site: kegeratorsource.org.  I don’t think you will be disappointed with the level of service they provide in showcasing the best of the best in the kegerator world.  Now…what keg do I want to purchase first??? :)
